🚧Changes are coming to the Yellowhead Trail and 66 Street. 🚧🚫⛔️66 Street Intersection RemovalThe concept plan for 66 Street incorporates an overpass at Yellowhead Trail; however, there are no timelines for the overpass construction. As part of the Yellowhead Trail Freeway Conversion, which requires the removal of all traffic signals along the corridor to improve traffic flow and safety, the City is removing the signalized intersection at 66 Street and nearby direct accesses. 📆Join the Project Team on April 30, 2026 from 5:30 - 7:30 pm at the Jerry Forbes Center to learn more, visit the website (Edmonton.ca/yellowheadtrail) or complete the survey. 🗒️🔗Link to survey: engaged.edmonton.ca/YHT66Street ... Hey Montrose, I have had a look at the Rink's as Hey Montrose,

I have had a look at the Rink's as of last night the Snow Bank Rink looks like it just needs 1 more flood before we can reopen that and the Boarded Rink still needs some work as they are still in the process of rebuilding some ice in the North End. With 1 more flood though the majority of the rink should be ready to reopen. We will keep you posted but hopefully we can resume usage of the Rinks by Friday (Saturday at the earliest). Please when you are at the rink and the Attendant is on site please listen to the Attendant.
Hi Montrose, Just wanted to update everyone on a Hi Montrose,

Just wanted to update everyone on a few items we are trying to setup at Montrose.

Firstly our President and Vice President have a meeting Scheduled with Councillor Salvador. The goals of this meeting are going to be a Proposal about the School Building (more info you come), talk about Predatory Infill within the Montrose Area, discussion about the Bike Path through Montrose area, and should we have time a talk about safety within Montrose as well.

Next we have been in contact with Edmonton Neighbourhood Watch to about what would be required to start up a program inside of Montrose. Montrose has always been in support of setting up this program unfortunately no one from the board have had the time to spearhead this initiative.

Finally we have been in contact with the City of Edmonton to see about setting up a Meet and Greet meeting with our Beat Officers as well as the Neighbourhood Empowerment Team (NET)

When we have more details about any of these meetings we will do our best to let everybody know.
