    Hi Montrose, Just wanted to update everyone on a Hi Montrose, Just wanted to update everyone on a few items we are trying to setup at Montrose. Firstly our President and Vice President have a meeting Scheduled with Councillor Salvador. The goals of this meeting are going to be a Proposal about the School Building (more info you come), talk about Predatory Infill within the Montrose Area, discussion about the Bike Path through Montrose area, and should we have time a talk about safety within Montrose as well. Next we have been in contact with Edmonton Neighbourhood Watch to about what would be required to start up a program inside of Montrose. Montrose has always been in support of setting up this program unfortunately no one from the board have had the time to spearhead this initiative. Finally we have been in contact with the City of Edmonton to see about setting up a Meet and Greet meeting with our Beat Officers as well as the Neighbourhood Empowerment Team (NET) When we have more details about any of these meetings we will do our best to let everybody know.     Hey Everyone, We have been checking the ice durin Hey Everyone, We have been checking the ice during the Winter Heat Wave we saw over the past few days and have decided to give the ice at least 1 more day before we open. We will check again tomorrow and post whether we will be opening tomorrow night but we should be good to open on the weekend.
    Hey Everyone, We reviewed the Numbers from our op Hey Everyone, We reviewed the Numbers from our opening Weekend with our Rinks at our Meeting last night and made the clear decision that our Rink will be open 6 days a week (Closed on Mondays). The proposed hours would be 5pm to 9pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 3pm to 9pm on Thursdays (Edmonton Schools Early Dismissal Day), 1pm to 9pm on Saturdays and 1pm to 8pm on Sundays. These times are also subject to change at the Montrose Boards Discression as we will be tracking how much the Rinks are used over the next few weeks. Additionally we will be accepting Ice Rentals that will affect the availability of out Boarded Rink.

We haven't had a chance to Finalize our Rink Schedule yet but our Rink Attendant did talk with everyone who came out this weekend about Hours. The Rink will be closed until Thursday as temperatures are going to be above 5 degrees until then.

Our Attendant will be on site starting Friday from 5 pm to 9 pm and on Saturday and Sunday from 1 pm to 5 pm our full schedule will be released this weekend
    Hey Everyone, Just wanted to give an update on th Hey Everyone, Just wanted to give an update on the Rinks. The Snow Bank Rink in behind the Hall is ready to go (We just have to attach a little signage) this Rink is intended for Skating Only(NO NETS, NO PUCKS). This rink will be available 7 days a week during park hours free to anyone who wishes to go Skating (when our Rink Attendant is not on site there will be no access to free Skate usage or dressing rooms) we are working as fast as we can to get the Boarded Rink open sometime this weekend but may not open until Tuesday. A Schedule will be posted once we are ready to open this rink as we will have our Attendant On site while this Rink is open. Montrose Community League
